How to show the sequence of numbers of the ticket hash or id?

In Vision Helpdesk it is possible to change the ticket ID’s to sequential and beginning from some number and also having a ticket hash prefix for the tickets. The ticket hash generation can be either random or sequential.

Quick steps to have sequential number for the ticket hash:

  • Log in to the Vision Helpdesk account as an administrator.
  • Go to the Settings >> System Section >> Module >> ticket
  • From the Ticket hash generation, Sequential is to be selected.
  • The Ticket hash prefix and the Numbering starts from for the ticket need to be specified here.
  • If for the Ticket hash prefix HELPDESK is selected and the numbering is starting from 50 then all the tickets that are appearing for the manage portal will have the ticket hash starting from HELPDESK-50 and so on.
