In order to integrate SMS with Vision Helpdesk follow the following steps. The API that is offered are Clickatell and Two SMS. The choice is to be made from them.

If Clickatell is selected:

Step 1] Login to https://www.clickatell.com/login/ clickatell account from Developers’ Central.

Step 2] Towards the bottom it will display the list of APIs that are added. One can get the details of the API from:

APIs >> Manage APIs

Step 4] It will display API ID, Name and Type for the particular API.

Step 5] Log-in to Vision Helpdesk Manage Portal,

Settings >> Integrations >> SMS >> API (Clickatell)

Domain:

Domain for which the particular API is to be integrated is to be selected from the drop down.

API:

Clickatell is to be selected as API.

Username:

Username for Clickatell is to be mentioned here.

Password:

Password for Clickatell is to be mentioned here.

URL:

The URL for Clickatell is to be mentioned here http://api.clickatell.com

API ID:

The API ID that one gets from Clickatell is to be mentioned here.

If Two SMS is selected:

Step 1] Sign up for https://smsportal.2sms.com/login.aspx Two SMS account.

Step 2] Log-in to Vision Helpdesk Manage Portal,

Settings >> Integrations >> SMS >> API (Two SMS)

Domain:

Domain for which the particular API is to be integrated is to be selected from the drop down.

API:

Two SMS is to be selected as API.

Username:

Username for Two SMS is to be mentioned here.

Password:

Password for Two SMS is to be mentioned here.

URL:

The URL for Two SMS is to be mentioned here.

The changes can be added by Add option and can be deleted by the Delete option.

How it works :

1] To integrate SMS with Vision Helpdesk ,staff will have to set alert & make sure SMS alert option is set to enable or not.
2] On every alert event , logged in staff will get alert sms.
