How can Date and Time zone be set for Vision Helpdesk?

The administrator in Vision Helpdesk can set up different time zones in order to specify correct Date and Time for different processes.

Quick step to set Date and Time zone by the admin:

  • Login to the Vision Helpdesk account as an administrator.
  • Go to Settings >> Ticket Section >> Domain.
  • The Date and Time will be displayed using the specified format.
  • The default time zone for the system can be set from here.
  • After making the changes from the domain the particular changes can be updated using the Update option.
Quick step to set Date and Timezone by the staff member:

  • Login to Vision Helpdesk support portal or manage portal.
  • Go to Profile >> Preferences >> Timezone.
  • The time zone can be set and updated from here.
  • Also the DST setting can be set for the particular staff member.
  • Thus the time zone that is set by the staff agents from the preferences will be reflected in all the reports, tickets etc.
