Using Single login the users can login to the client portal
using the LinkedIn credentials.
Follow the following steps:
Step 1] Create an app for LinkedIn from
https://www.linkedin.com/secure/developer Step 2] One can get the Client id and Client secret from the detail page.
Step 3] For the Default Application Permissions keep r_basicprofile, r_emailaddress and r_contactinfo as checked.
Step 4] Log-in to Vision Helpdesk Manage Portal,
Settings >> Single login >> LinkedIn Domain: Domain for which LinkedIn single login settings are to be done is to be selected from the drop down.
Client id: The client id that one gets while creating the linkedin app is to be mentioned here.
Client secret: The client secret that one gets while creating the linkedin app is to be mentioned here.
Redirect URL: The URL where it should be redirected needs to be mentioned here. It should be the client URL.
Status: The status can be either enabled or disabled from here.
The changes can be saved by the
Save option and can be deleted by the
Delete option.
Now on the client portal area or the clients there will be linkedIn icon and the clients will be able to login to the client portal using linkedIn credentials.
