Slack Integration

Features available with Slack integration:

- After the successful integration, you can set the alert for notification on Slack for different events in this software.


Steps for Slack integration:

Step 1:- Login to your Slack account: https://www.slack.com/

Step 2:- Go to “OAuth and Permissions” on the left side of the screen.

Step 3:- Click on Add Scopes


Please reinstall the APP, then you can generate the OAuth Token

The OAuth token needs to be copied under the "Auth Token" option in Vision Helpdesk.


Step 4]
Log-in to the Vision Helpdesk Manage Portal, Settings >>Integrations >>Slack >> Add Slack

Domain: Domain for which the Slack is to be integrated is to be selected fromHelpdesk.op-down.


Integration title:
You can add an integration title here.

Auth token:
You can copy-paste the OAuth token here taken from the Slack account. (From Step 3)

Status:
The status can be either enabled or disabled from here.

Add:
Click on add to save the details.


Post Integration.

● - After the successful integration, you can set the alert for notification on Slack for different events in this software. Go to admin setting > Automation >> alerts.

● - Also, enable notify on the Slack option.
