The staff users can be restricted from accessing the manage or staff portal if the staff login IP restriction is enabled.
It is possible to specify range of IP addresses or a single IP address that will be white listed and only the users from specific IP addresses can access the manage or staff portal of Vision Helpdesk.

Staff login IP restriction


The IP for the staff member can be restricted from accessing the staff or manage portal if the staff login IP restriction is enabled.

Add IP or IP range

IP address or the range of IP address that can access the portal can be mentioned here.

Towards the bottom of the screen it will list out all the IP addresses that are allowed to access manage or staff portal. The particular IP can also be removed from the listing by the delete option.

If you are facing any of the trouble in white listing the IP addresses then the network administrator can be contacted to white list the IP addresses. Also one can refer whatismyipaddress.com to get all the basic information about the IP addresses.

Password Security


The strength of the password can be set as Weak, Medium, Strong, Very Strong from here and the changes can be updated from the Update option.

Two factor authentication

If the Two factor authentication is enabled then the client will receive a verification mail when he registers to the helpdesk.
