Service item

Depending upon the categories that are added for the services, service items can be added accordingly for it. Service item can be added from:

Settings >> ITIL section >> Service item

Mass Action on Service item:

It is possible to select either of the service items with the help of checklist and to perform desired action on them. Service items can be either published or saved as draft from here.

Filter List:

Filter list is used to provide more efficient and effective searches. When you enter filter terms in search box and when filter is applied then the particular list appears according to the filter that is applied.

Apply Filter:

When all the details regarding the filter are filled then filter can be applied for the particular list of service items. Depending upon the terms that are filled for the filter to be applied the list appears for the filters.

Add Service item:

Additional service items can be added using the Add option. When you click on Add you will have the following fields.

Name:

The name for the service item is to be specified here.

Service category:

The particular service category to which the service item should belong is to be selected from the drop down.

Description:

A short description for the service item is to be specified here.

Cost:

The cost for the service item is to be specified here. The choice is to be made whether it should be visible to the client portal or not.

Estimated delivery:

The estimated delivery time is to be specified here. The choice is to be made whether it should be visible to the client portal or not.

Quantity:

The choice is to be made whether the quantity option will be visible in the client portal or not.

Item image:

The image for the particular service item can be selected from here.

Status:

The status for the item can be changed from. The item can either be published or saved as draft.

Update Service item:

It is possible to edit or update a particular service item by selecting it from the listing. The changes can be made and it can be updated from the Update option present at the bottom.

Add Service custom field:

Service item:

The particular service item for which fields are to be added is to be selected from the drop down.

(Text box / Text area / Password):

The fields related to this service custom field will be the same.

Field title:

The title of the field is to be mentioned here.

Default value:

The default value of the field is to be mentioned here.

Field description:

A short description about the field can be written here.

Display order:

The order in which the particular field will be displayed will be specified here.

Regular expression validation:

It will specify whether the particular regular expression is validated or not. The particular choice is to be made from Email, Numeric, Alphabetic and Alphanumeric.

Is required:

It will decide whether the particular field is required or not.

User editable:

Not applicable since it is not available for the client portal.

Staff editable:

It will decide whether the fields will be edited by the staff or not.

Status:

The status of the particular service custom field will be enabled or disabled from here.

(Checkbox / Radio button / Select box, Multiple Select box):

Field title:

The title of the field will be mentioned here.

Field description:

A short description about the field can be written here.

Display order:

The order in which the particular field will be displayed will be specified here.

User editable:

Not applicable since it is not available for the client portal.

Staff editable:

It will decide whether the particular field that is added will be edited by the staff or not.

Status:

The status of the fields can be either enabled or disabled from here.

Option fields:

There can be optional fields that can be added by this option.

(Date Time):

The description of the particular field can be mentioned here.

The order in which the particular field will be listed will be displayed would be specified here.

The default value of the field is to be mentioned here.
