There is a built-in Contract Management module that lets you maintain a record of the contracts with third party vendor. Different Contract types can be added from here.
Settings >> ITIL Section >> Contract type
Note: By default there are three Contract types:
Lease Contract type cannot be deleted and its status cannot be changed.
Mass Action Contract type:
It is possible to select either of the contract type or more than one contract types with the help of checklist and perform the desired action on them. Contract type can be either enabled or disabled from here.
Filter List:
Filter list is used to provide more efficient and effective searches. When you enter filter terms in the search box and when filter is applied then particular list appears according to the filter that is applied.
Apply Filter:
When all the details regarding the filter are filled then the filter can be applied for the particular list of contract types. Depending upon the terms that are filled for the filter to be applied the list appears for the filters.
Add Contract type:
Additional contract types can be added using the Add option. When you click on Add you will have the following fields:
Name:
The name for the contract type should be specified here.
Description:
A short description of the contract type is to be specified here.
Display order:
If there are many contract types that are available then the sorting can be done from Display order. Contract types get sorted as per the display order for the contract type specified.
Department access:
It consists of the contract types that will have the access to particular contract types. More than one department can be selected at a time. It is also possible to select all the departments using All Departments option.
Language translation for contract type:
If the language in the Manage portal is been translated into some other language and one wishes to translate the contract type in that language then the translation name for contract type can be added from here.
Status:
It is possible to enable or disable a particular contract type. If the particular contract type is disabled then it will not be used by the system.
Update Contract type:
It is possible to edit or update a particular contract type by selecting it from the listing. The changes can be made and it can be updated from the Update option present at the bottom.
