Depreciation type can be added from
Settings >>
ITIL Section >> Financial management
Note: By
default there are four release types:
DT-SL (Straight line)
DT-DB (Declining balance)
DT-DDB (Double declining balance)
DT-SOD (Sum of years digit)
DT-SL (Straight
line) cannot be deleted or its status cannot be changed.
Mass Action on Depreciation
type:
It is
possible to select either of depreciation type or more than one type with the
help of checklist and to perform desired action on them. Depreciation type can
be either enabled or disabled.
Any
depreciation type can be deleted by the delete option except the default
depreciation types.
Filter List:
Filter List
is used to provide more efficient and effective searches. When you enter filter
terms in search box and when filter is applied then the filter list appears
according to the filter that is applied.
Apply Filter:
When all the
details regarding the filter are filled then filter can be applied for the
particular list of depreciation types. Depending upon the terms that are filled
for the filter to be applied the list appears for the filters.
Add Depreciation type:
Additional
depreciation types can be added using the Add option. When you click on Add you
will have the following fields:
Title:
The title for
the depreciation type should be specified here.
Display order:
If there are
many depreciation types that are available then sorting can be done from
Display order. Depreciation types get sorted as per the display order for the
depreciation type specified.
Depreciation:
Depreciation
method that is to be used is to be selected from the drop down.
Useful life (in years):
The useful
life in years should be mentioned here.
Description:
A short
description of the depreciation type is to be mentioned here.
Department access:
It consists of departments that will have access to
particular depreciation type. More than one department can be selected at a
time. It is also possible to select all the departments using
All Departments option.
Status:
The status of the depreciation type can be either enabled or
disabled from here.
Update Depreciation
type:
It is possible to edit or update a particular depreciation
type by selecting it from the listing. The changes can be made and it can be
updated from the Update option present at the bottom.
