Product can be added from:

Mass Action on
Product catalogs:
It is possible to select either of the product catalog or
more than one product catalogs with the help of checklist and perform the desired
action on them. Product catalog can be either enabled or disabled.
Any Product catalog can be deleted using the delete option.
Filter List:
Filter list is used to provide more efficient and effective
searches. When you enter filter terms in search box and when filter is applied
then particular list appears according to the filter that is applied.
Apply Filter:
When all the details regarding the filter are filled then
filter can be applied for the particular list of product catalogs. Depending
upon the terms that are filled for the filter to be applied the list appears
for the filters.
Add Product
catalog:
Additional product catalogs can be added using the Add
option. When you click on Add you will have the following fields:
Name:
The name for the particular product catalog can be added
from here.
CI type:
The category for configuration item type can be selected
from here.
Manufacturer:
The manufacturer for the product is to be specified here.
Product status:
The status of the particular product that is added is to be
selected from the drop down.
Mode of procurement:
The mode of
procurement for the particular product is to be selected from the drop down.
Description:
The description for the particular product is to be
specified here.
Department access:
It consists of departments that will have the access to
particular product catalog. More than one department can be selected at a time.
It is possible to select all the departments using All Departments option.
Status:
The status for the particular product catalog can be either
enabled or disabled from here.
Update Product
catalog:
It is possible to edit or update a particular product
catalog by selecting it from the listing. The changes can be made and can be
updated from the Update option that is present at the bottom.
All the basic details of the product catalog that was filled
while adding product catalog will be displayed along with the status of the
product catalog. It consists of two tabs at the bottom:
Vendor:
There can be vendor that can be added for the particular
product catalog from the Add vendor option.
Number of vendors can be added for the particular product.
Update product:
All the details of
the particular product can be updated from here.
