Billing rate

The method that is used for billing can be either based on Incident or time. If the billing method is based on billing per Incident, the balance will be deducted from the clients account per Incident submission. In time base the billing method is based on billing per time, the balance will be deducted from the client account as per the time is taken to resolve the Incident.

Domain: The particular domain for which the billing rate are to be set is to be selected from the drop-down.

Domain :

Title: Here you can specify the name for the billing rate.

Billing Method:

  1. Incident base.
  2. Time base.

Incident base

Bill rate (USD): Here you can specify the billing rate you want to charge your client per Incident. The default currency is USD. The settings for the currency can also be made through the domain settings.

Time base

Bill rate (USD): Here you can specify the billing rate you want to charge your client as per time spent. The default currency is USD. The settings for the currency can also be made through the domain settings.

Minutes - Here you can define the number of minutes upon which the bill rate would be applied.

For example, if You add $10 USD in bill rate and 60 minutes in Minutes field then if time spent on Incident is 120, billing for the client would be $20 USD.
